Intra-district Permits
Intra-district Permits
Background
LAUSD allows for the transfer of students within the district for any grade from transitional kindergarten/kindergarten through grade 12 under conditions specified by District policy.
Purpose
Intra-district permits are managed directly between the student's school of residence and the requested school. Permit decisions are made based on individual application merit, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Intra-District Permit (Resident LAUSD school to another LAUSD school)
If you are a resident of the LAUSD (live within LAUSD school boundaries) and would like to attend another LAUSD school, follow the Intra-district Permit process.
